Some of you may remember the cloud mat I made for the entrance when we moved to the Happy House. In the past years I received a lot of questions regarding that mat and how I made it. I never had the opportunity to make a proper tutorial because, let’s face it, it would be too simple! The only things you need, are a big felt piece {pretty thick, in the color you want}, a pen and a pair of good scissors {or a cutter}.
Trace the cloud shape on the felt, cut and that’s it! Easy peasy! And since I still have some leftovers from that piece of felt, I made a mousepad, following the same, simple instructions. Ready to make your own? A 10 minuts project for the weekend.
Alcuni di voi ricorderanno il tappetino nuvola che ho fatto per l’ingresso quando ci siamo trasferiti alla Happy House. Negli ultimi anni ho ricevuto un sacco di domande riguardanti quel tappeto e come ho fatto a realizzarlo. Non ho mai avuto la possibilità di fare un vero e proprio tutorial, perché, diciamocelo, sarebbe davvero troppo semplice! Le uniche cose di cui avete bisogno sono un grande pezzo di feltro {piuttosto spesso, nel colore che si desidera}, un pennarello e un paio di buone forbici {o un taglierino}.
Tracciate la forma della nuvola sul feltro, ritagliate e il gioco è fatto! Facile come bere un bicchiere d’acqua! E siccome ho ancora alcuni avanzi di quel pezzo di feltro, ho fatto un tappetino per il mouse, seguendo le stesse, semplici istruzioni. Pronti a fare il vostro? Un progetto di 10 min per il fine settimana.
