Testing hooks and mastering the art of the loop stitch

This is what I’m doing these days, or better say in these evenings: I’m testing new hooks {spoiler alert: I want to make them available in my shop!} and I’m mastering the art of the loop stitch that Ingrid teached me during the Cool Crochet workshop last april.
I made a lovely cardigan that she designed {you can buy the pattern here} and now I’m making a cushion cover, inspired by this one she made. The fun part is that this is a very quick and simple but effective stitch, that I remember was very popular in the ’70. Ok, I wasn’t even born at the time, but I remember the pictures of my mom wearing it.
Is becoming one of my favorite stitch! 

Questo è quello che sto facendo in questi giorni, o meglio dire in queste sere: sto testando nuovi uncinetti {spoiler alert: voglio renderli disponibili nel mio negozio!} e sto migliorando la mia tecnica con il punto pelliccia che Ingrid mi ha insegnato durante il workshop Cool Crochet lo scorso aprile. 
Ho fatto un bel gilet che lei stessa ha disegnato {è possibile acquistare il modello qui} e ora sto facendo un cuscino, ispirata invece da questo pattern. La parte divertente è che questo è un punto molto veloce e semplice ma allo stesso tempo di grande effetto, che mi ricordo era molto popolare negli anni ’70. Ok, ammetto che non ero ancora nata all’epoca, ma ricordo le foto di mia mamma che lo indossa. 
Sta diventando uno dei miei punti preferiti!
